Tattoo City Tattoo Convention always opens up the opportunity to volunteers.  We have many people ask to help so  we have streamlined the process. 

Please fill out this form and we will be in touch with you.  We have 25 spots available, including, stencil booth, door watchers, greeters, runners, judges, face painters, and any helpful thing you can do.

**1. Tattoo Contest Judge:**
   - **Role:** As a Tattoo Contest Judge, your primary responsibility is to assess and evaluate tattoo entries in various categories. Judges should have a keen eye for detail, artistic appreciation, and knowledge of tattooing techniques.
   - **Duties:**
     - Carefully inspect each tattoo entry for quality, creativity, and technical skill.
     - Assign scores based on predefined criteria, considering factors like design, line work, shading, and overall appeal.
     - Collaborate with other judges to ensure fair and consistent scoring.
     - Provide constructive feedback to tattoo artists if requested.
     - Maintain impartiality and professionalism throughout the judging process.

**2. Other Non-Tattoo Contest Judge:**
   - **Role:** Non-Tattoo Contest Judges are responsible for evaluating non-tattoo-related competitions or aspects of the event. This could include cosplay contests, costume competitions, or other non-tattoo contests.
   - **Duties:**
     - Review and assess entries in the designated competition.
     - Score participants based on predetermined criteria.
     - Collaborate with fellow judges to ensure fairness and accuracy.
     - Provide feedback or commentary as required.
     - Maintain professionalism and impartiality.

**3. TikTok Content Creator:**
   - **Role:** The TikTok Content Creator is responsible for capturing and creating engaging short-form video content for the event's TikTok account. This role requires creativity, enthusiasm, and knowledge of TikTok trends.
   - **Duties:**
     - Capture and edit short videos highlighting event moments, tattoo art, and behind-the-scenes action.
     - Stay updated on TikTok trends and incorporate relevant content into the event's account.
     - Engage with the audience by responding to comments and promoting event activities.
     - Collaborate with other content creators and event organizers to plan and execute TikTok content strategies.

**4. Instagram Content Creator:**
   - **Role:** Instagram Content Creators focus on capturing and sharing visual content on the event's Instagram account. They play a crucial role in showcasing the event's atmosphere and artistic elements.
   - **Duties:**
     - Take high-quality photos and videos of tattoo art, artists, and event highlights.
     - Create engaging Instagram Stories and posts that reflect the event's vibe.
     - Use relevant hashtags and geotags to increase discoverability.
     - Interact with followers, respond to comments, and promote event activities.
     - Collaborate with other content creators and organizers to maintain a consistent Instagram presence.

**5. Facebook Content Creator:**
   - **Role:** Facebook Content Creators focus on producing content for the event's Facebook page. They aim to engage the event's Facebook community and provide updates and insights.
   - **Duties:**
     - Craft informative and visually appealing Facebook posts.
     - Share event updates, artist profiles, and relevant news.
     - Interact with the Facebook community by responding to comments and messages.
     - Collaborate with other content creators to ensure content consistency across platforms.
     - Use Facebook analytics to track engagement and reach.

**6. Artist Area / Stencil Maker:**
   - **Role:** The Artist Area or Stencil Maker is responsible for supporting tattoo artists by preparing stencils and assisting in the setup of their workstations.
   - **Duties:**
     - Prepare and cut stencils based on the designs provided by tattoo artists.
     - Assist artists in setting up their workstations by ensuring they have all necessary supplies.
     - Maintain a clean and organized artist area.
     - Provide any additional support or assistance requested by tattoo artists.
     - Ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in the artist area.

**7. The Most Helpful Position:**
   - **Role:** This role is designed for volunteers who are adaptable and willing to assist wherever needed during the event.
   - **Duties:**
     - Be available to fill in for other volunteers as needed.
     - Assist with tasks such as crowd control, providing information to attendees, and helping with logistics.
     - Act as a flexible resource to ensure the event runs smoothly.
     - Work closely with event organizers to address any emerging needs.

**8. Door Watcher:**
   - **Role:** Door Watchers are responsible for monitoring entrances and ensuring that only authorized individuals enter the event area.
   - **Duties:**
     - Verify attendee credentials and event tickets.
     - Prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.
     - Assist with crowd control during peak entry times.
     - Communicate with event security and organizers to address any issues.

**9. Information Booth:**
   - **Role:** Volunteers at the Information Booth provide event attendees with information, answer questions, and offer assistance.
   - **Duties:**
     - Greet attendees and provide directions to various event areas.
     - Distribute event programs, schedules, and other informational materials.
     - Answer questions regarding event activities, artist locations, and schedules.
     - Serve as a friendly point of contact for attendees seeking assistance.

**10. Artist Check-in:**
    - **Role:** The Artist Check-in volunteer helps ensure a smooth arrival and setup process for tattoo artists participating in the event.
    - **Duties:**
      - Welcome artists upon their arrival at the event.
      - Verify artist credentials and registration information.
      - Assist artists in locating their assigned workspaces.
      - Provide artists with event-related materials and information.
      - Address any specific needs or requests from participating artists.

**11. Drivers (Must be 25+ with a Valid License and Good Driving Record):**
    - **Role:** Drivers are responsible for transportation-related tasks, such as shuttling artists or event staff, running errands, and ensuring safe and efficient transportation during the event.
    - **Duties:**
      - Drive designated vehicles to transport artists, staff, or supplies.
      - Follow safe driving practices and adhere to traffic laws.
      - Assist with loading and unloading equipment or materials.
      - Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of assigned vehicles.
      - Coordinate with event organizers to fulfill transportation needs.

**12. Set-up and/or Break Down:**
    - **Role:** Set-up and Breakdown volunteers play a vital role in preparing the event space before it opens to the public and ensuring a smooth and efficient teardown process.
    - **Duties:**
      - Assist with setting up event booths, displays, and equipment.
      - Arrange tables, chairs, and signage as directed.
      - Ensure the event area is clean, organized, and safe for attendees.
      - During breakdown, assist in dismantling booths and packing up materials.
      - Work collaboratively with the event setup and teardown teams.

**13. Entertainment:**
    - **Role:** Entertainment volunteers contribute to the overall ambiance and enjoyment of the event by assisting with entertainment activities, such as stage performances, live music, or other artistic displays.
    - **Duties:**
      - Support event entertainers and performers as needed.
      - Assist with the setup and coordination of entertainment areas.
      - Help ensure that performances run smoothly and on schedule.
      - Engage with attendees to enhance their entertainment experience.
      - Collaborate with the entertainment coordinator to execute entertainment plans.

**14. Chef:**
    - **Role:** The Chef volunteer is responsible for culinary tasks related to providing food and refreshments during the event.

 **Duties:**
      - Prepare and serve food items as directed.
      - Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed.
      - Collaborate with event organizers to create menus and recipes.
      - Assist in the setup and maintenance of food service areas.
      - Address dietary restrictions or special requests from event attendees.

**15. Kid Zone:**
    - **Role:** Volunteers in the Kid Zone focus on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for children attending the event.
    - **Duties:**
      - Supervise and engage with children in designated play areas.
      - Organize kid-friendly activities, games, or crafts.
      - Ensure child safety and adherence to rules within the Kid Zone.
      - Assist parents and guardians with any child-related needs.
      - Maintain a welcoming and family-friendly environment.

Each of these volunteer positions plays a crucial role in the success of Tattoo City Tat Con, contributing to the overall experience of attendees and participants. Volunteers are essential in creating a well-organized and enjoyable event for all involved.
