Health Department Process
For facilities licensed by the State of Michigan,

a temporary license shall be applied for by the facility.

The temporary license shall be applied for no later than 30 days prior to the start of the event.

Applications that are applied for after 30 days will not be approved. If you are not able to tattoo at our event due to not completing application process in time you risk losing your entire booth payment.

For facilities licensed outside the State of Michigan

Each holder of the tempotary license, shall submit the following information to the Genesee County Enviromental Health Divison for every artist attending.
Please sumbit at least 2 weeks prior to the event.

Current copy of bloodborne pathogens training

Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination forms
Inspections will be performed during two window of time

The 1st window Fridays before show August 11, 2023 between 10 am and 2 pm

The 2nd window Saturday August 12, 2023 between 9am and 11 am
NO TATTOOING MAY BE PERFORMED PRIOR TO INSPECTION & APPROVAL. ANY ARTIST DISCOVERED TATTOOING PRIOR TO INSPECTION, WILL HAVE THEIR TEMPORARY LICENSE REVOKED AND ALL ARTIST UNDER THAT LICENSE WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE. NO REFUNDS
If you do not get inspected Friday before 2pm you can not tattoo until after inspection on Saturday
