Lansing's Tattoo City Tattoo Convention 2025 booth application available, it MUST include ALL INFORMATION: artist names, studio/business name, contact information, and portfolio links for each artist (if applicable). Any incomplete booth application emails will NOT be reviewed and will not receive a response. Filling out the online booth application DOES NOT guarantee you a booth at Tattoo City Tattoo Convention, but it does allow us to check out your tattoo portfolio/business for a possible invitation to purchase a booth at Tattoo City Tattoo Convention 2023.
Each Individual Artist must be approved. If you are applying as a shop you must tell us who the artist will be that are tattooing in the booth. Absolutely no apprentices should be tattooing at this convention. If shop apprentices are caught tattooing the entire shop will be asked to leave. No refunds. We DO NOT email booth applicants back unless they are to receive an invitation for a booth. Your application for Tattoo City Tattoo Convention will be under review. If your application is accepted, you will receive an email with links to your paperwork and payment options. You cannot pay for your booth until you receive the invitational email containing instructions for purchase.

Body art convention, standard operating procedures
for body, art conventions, taking place in Genesee county, these procedures are to be followed to operate.
1) Permitting
* for facilities, license by the state of Michigan, a temporary license shall be applied for by the facility as an "affiliated" license or proof of state of Michigan licensure
* for a facility, attending from a state other than Michigan. The temporary license shall be applied for by the event Director, as an "unaffiliated" license and proof of licensure from a facilities state is required
* a facility may include up to 10 artist per temporary license. Additional artist will require a second temporary license for that facility.
* the temporary license shall be applied for a minimum of 30 days prior to the start of the event applications that are applied for after the 30 days will not be approved.
*** license applied for after the 30 day deadline will be required to pay a $100 late fee to the Genesee county health department
* Each holder of the temporary license shall submit the following information to the Genesee county environmental health division for every artist attending please submit at least two weeks prior to the event, a copy of blood-borne pathogen‘s training current for the duration of the current convention. (No 2+ years expirations allowed unless still in the first year)
2) Event Director
the event Director will submit a temporary license and a temporary body art facility inspection application to the Genesee county environmental health department that includes
* detailed site plan of the event that includes number, boost, and name of the license holder for each booth
* all paperwork that will be used for the event, including technical/client forms and aftercare instructions
* detail list of what is provided by the convention and the responsibilities of the license holder
3) General Requirements
* all booths shall be numbered outside the entrance to the booth.
* The entire Convention shall use all disposable equipment for tattooing and piercing.
* tattooing and piercing shall be done on individuals 18 years of age and older.
*if alcohol is served at the convention signage shall be posted stating Tattoos will not be performed on individuals under the influence.
* 1 portable hand sink will be required for every 4 license to booths.
* All portable hand sinks shall be located in the middle of the isles, equally spaced from adjacent booths number for inspections.
* All inspections must be performed during two windows of time.
The first window will be four hours prior to the event start time up until the actual event start time even if it starts at 2 PM the window for inspection will be 10 AM to 2 PM, the second window will be the following day one hour prior to the events start time up until the actual event start time. If event starts at 11 AM window for inspection will be from 10 AM to 11 AM.
No tattooing may be performed prior to inspection and approval. Any artist discover Tattooed prior to inspection, will have their temporary license revoked. I will be asked to leave the event.
